The Eighth World Congress of the Fourth International has just completed its final session. We, delegates from 50 countries who have participated in this Congress, wish to put our main conclusions up for discussion.
The agenda of our Congress foresaw a broad discussion devoted to the struggle against war and the military interventions and occupations that are threatening humankind throughout the world.
But just as that discussion was being pursued, a press report was published that said: “The government of Mariano Rajoy has allowed the US to deploy on Spanish territory a rapid reaction force in anticipation of widespread chaos expected in Algeria. In the next few days, a 500-strong special forces unit under the US Marine Corps together with eight US military aircraft will be deployed at the Morón de la Frontera base, situated in Seville province in Andalusia.
